__________________ currently uses the Frog Street curriculum and is subject to change based on the developmental needs of the children. Biweekly curriculum lesson plans are implemented to teach the children. There are six developmental domains that are covered daily the following domains are: language, cognitive, social-emotional, self-help, gross, and fine motor skills.

At __________________, we work to make a difference in the lives of children. We’re driven by a passion for igniting curiosity and a joy for learning.

We believe that everything we teach can inspire children to become the authors of their own unique learning stories! By walking hand in hand with children, we can learn and grow together.

As children construct knowledge through everyday experiences, we hope to extend their learning as they explore the classroom, community, and the diverse, beautiful world around them.

The activities, games, and experiences are all formulated to engage a child’s natural curiosity and provide a foundation for lifelong success. The lesson plans include daily instruction and activities targeted toward these essential developmental areas: Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Math, Science & Discovery, Social Studies, and Arts.

Activities are an important part of my daycare/pre-school program. They are not rigidly structured, but rather informally scheduled to meet the needs of the children. The children will be provided with toys and equipment that will foster their development physically, mentally, and emotionally. I strive to provide a variety of activities for the children such as storytime, arts and crafts, baking and cooking projects, a sensory table with a variety of items for them to work with, science projects, small muscle activities such as puzzles, Duplo’s or blocks, daily outdoor play (weather permitting), large muscle activities, individual quiet time, and free play. We watch minimal TV. We also work with activities that develop creativity, imagination, and skills in recognizing colors, shapes, sizes, animals, numbers, and the alphabet. Infants are provided with suitable toys that foster visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation.

We utilize a variety of activities, such as free play, reading, arts and crafts, music/singing, dancing, dramatic play/pretend, exercising, and outside play. While incorporating in monthly themes and during play, children will also learn and explore math, science and discovery, letters, shapes, colors, and number recognition. Some of the projects will be taken home to share with the family and others will be ones that you can ask about.

We work hard to teach the children their preschool basics such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, and manners including sharing, please, and thank you and we work on our table manners each mealtime.

Some activities we do throughout any given day include, age-appropriate art projects, age-appropriate learning workbooks, name tracing or writing, coloring, play dough, dancing, singing, outside play, story-time, free play, and clean up time.
